Central Sundays

We want Sunday to be the highlight of the week!

We gather together each week at 10.15 for a 10.45am start.

We meet in the Salvation Army building

Why we meet

Our church gatherings aren't about rules or traditions, but about relationships.

We want to enjoy time together, help each other, and get to know Jesus better. Because we think if we know him better, we'll live life as it's meant to be lived.

What to expect?

We start at 10.15am for

refreshments in the lounge.

At 10.45am we move into the main room for just over an hour to sing, to talk to God, to hear the Bible read aloud and preached, and to share news. Sometimes we will also share the Lord's Supper together.

After the service we have more

time to chat over coffee.

What if I'm not sure what I believe...?

Anyone is welcome to come along to CCW, and we want to make it as easy as possible to come along, whatever you believe. You can just come and watch a church family in action.

A Sunday Service is a great way to look more into who Jesus is and what faith in him looks like.

Children

We love being a church for all ages. During our time together, children usually go out for age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities and fun. We currently have two groups: Scramblers (aged 3 to Year 1) & Sunday Club (Year 2 to 5).  Children start all together in the lounge, before the Sunday Club move into the Prayer Room.

Under 3s are welcome to join in with Scramblers' activities with their parent/carer as much as they would like. Creche toys are also available.

Young people in Year 6 upwards are invited to join Youth Night, and are supported during the service by Youth Night leaders.

All of our children's leaders and helpers have been safely recruited, including DBS check and safeguarding training.
